Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you travel?

A: Basic travel starts at $1.00 per mile round trip. You will receive a custom quote upon signing contracts. All travel related expenses will be assessed based at time of booking your location. This may include hotel, mileage expense/uber, flight, and food during the duration of the stay. Any bookings more than 2 hours from San Diego, CA. will require compensation for hotel stay.

Q: How do I reserve my date?

A: We typically book up 6-8 months in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate shorter timelines. We ask for a 50% deposit for the bride to reserve the date. Total headcount for the bridal party is required 3-months prior.

Q: How do you collect payment?

A: Single payment preferred. We accept cash, check, Zelle, and Venmo.

Q: What is included in a Bridal Trial appointment?

A: Get a sneak peak of what you will look like on the day of your wedding! During a Bridal Trial, we go over the feel, look and theme of your wedding and customize desired hairstyle. Please bring all hair accessories, extensions, and veil to the trial to get a clear idea of the final look. We recommend sending inspirational photos ahead of time along with a selfie to help us prepare.

Day-Of Prep

Hair

I highly recommend arriving with clean, dry hair. Use 1-2 washes with light shampoo and avoid conditioning treatments. Most Mothers of the Bride and Mothers of the Groom get blowouts, in which case your regular hair routine is expected.

Arrival

Please plan on arriving early, as we run ahead of schedule. This helps to keep us on the wedding day timeline. We recommend having an idea or photo for hairstyle inspiration.

Pro Tips

Check with the bride or coordinator on day of schedule to ensure you have a long lasting hairstyle that takes you through the evening. If you have extensions or hair that doesn’t hold curl, take this into consideration when planning the schedule.
